Custom Yamaha XSR700 Motorbike By George Woodman Garage Has A Beautiful Wood Carving Fronts

The French custom motorcycle studio George Woodman Garage is known for building stunning two-wheeled projects with beautiful wooden panels – a signature touch of the studio. Sebastien Valliergues from George Woodman Garage made a breakthrough for his custom motorcycle. However, the latest XSR 700 project named ‘Hommage’ has a distinct design. The highlight of the Yamaha XSR700 is that it is its beautifully crafted wooden fairing which is quite difficult to apply. The process begins with stripping all parts of the motorbike and creating a new fairing design that is inspired by old racing bikes. Then a fairing is made with full wood, handmade which makes the process so long.

In order for the fairing to last longer, he coated it with fiberglass and resin like a surfboard. This fairing is attached to the motorbike frame with the help of custom brackets made of iron. It has single jeep headlight fitted at the front and the LED turn signals on both sides.

Even the chain is similar in aesthetic, made from multiply wood and resin, but the rest of the custom Yamaha has upgraded performance parts, including ohlins in the fork and rear spring, rear set by gilles tooling, KN filters, rizoma fuel tap, xrace exhaust, and diablo supercorsa tires. The sub frame has been modified with an extended loop, which fits an LED backlight strip. Elsewhere, the garage’s handicraft is seen even more: two black-painted side panels feature underneath the fuel tank, black corian is used to make the front mudguard, and the rider sits on an hand-stitched leathers bench. Last but not least, the paint job is completed by jérome lopez of colorside. This one-of-a-kind motorcycle is up for sale and George Woodman says it can be shipped anywhere in the world.
