Tanzanian worker becomes millionaire after finding biggest tanzanite stones

It is said that the fate of a person can also change. If you do not believe this, then you must know about a laborer working in a mine whose fortunes suddenly changed to become a millionaire overnight. Let us tell you how this happened. Actually, this incident is of Tanzania country located in the eastern part of the continent of Africa.

According to reports, a man named Saniniu Kuryan Laizer, 52, who works in a Tanzanian mine, found two gems of deep purple-blue color while working in the mine. Laizer found these gems in one of the Tanzanite mines in the north of the country. A wall surrounds this area so that the smuggling of gems can be controlled. A spokesman of the Ministry of Mines said that the weight of the first gem is 9.27 kg, while the weight of the second is 5.103 kg.

Let us tell you, Tanzanite is a gem, which is found only in a small northern region of the East African nation. In return for these precious gems, the Tanzanian government has paid 7.74 billion Tanzanian shillings to the miner. This amount is equivalent to 33.5 lakh dollars in US dollar and about 25 crore 36 lakh rupees in Indian currency.

The entire program of the cheque given by the government to Saniniu was conducted on TV. On this occasion, Secretary of the Ministry of Mines, Simon Msanjila said that that the two recently discovered gemstones were the largest ones ever to be found since the beginning of mining in Mirerani. According to the report, on this occasion, the President of the country, John Magufuli, congratulated Saniniu Laizer on the phone.

A Tanzanian bank has purchased these gems. Photos are going viral on the social media. Significantly, a law was enacted in Tanzania last year under which a B citizen of the country can mine and sell gold or gems to the government. The government does not do mining work there.
