Pamper Yourself In Luxury With Extending Beach Club Superyacht

A 393ft (120m) superyacht concept with extending beach club aft has been revealed by Opalinski Design House. Named Indah— meaning ‘beautiful one,’ a word that has origins in Indonesia, the concept features a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with “slender” exterior lines and a vertical bow.

Described as a “true ocean-going vessel” by the studio, the Indah yacht accommodates a total of 24 guests in 12 cabins inside a massive 5,500 GT interior. While the suite private owner’s has direct access to a dedicated aft deck balcony while the crew quarters is large enough for a staff of 32 crew members.

The highlight of the concept is the spacious beach club on the yacht; which extends into a huge deck space thanks to rotating transom bulkheads. Both port and starboard bulkheads rotating outwards suspended on two hinge brackets (similar to the large gate on the driveway), are integrated with two horizontal extension decks. When deploying the beach-club the two extension decks are simply being pulled outwards in rotational motion whilst resting their weight on the bearings allowing them to be rolled out supported in 3 critical spots at all times.

The patented feature creates a huge beach terrace at sea level and allows the tenders to come alongside the beach club, rather than block water access at the stern. The beach club also features a gym and sauna behind tinted glass aft. Owners have the choice to opt for a helicopter-landing pad with an optional hangar below the deck. All aspects of this feature are protected under International Utility Patent Law. Application no. P435916.

The studio has also focused on the yacht’s green credentials, resulting in a diesel-electric propulsion package, solar generating surface coatings and vertical wind turbines on board. Power will come from four MTU16V engines for a top speed of 24 knots and range of 7,000 nautical miles.
