According to the report, the Gates couple had purchased more than one lakh acres of land, which has now doubled. According to this, Gates not only invested in cultivable land, but also bought other types of land. These include 14,500 acres purchased in the Horse Heaven Hills area. For this, he has paid Rs 1,251 crore. In all, they have purchased a total of 2,68,984 acres so far. In the early 2000s, he started helping farmers in developing countries. According to media reports, Bill Gates has purchased land for smart city projects in Arizona. His dream is to make a smart city. In 2008, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation announced that their foundation would help smallholder farmers in Africa and other developing countries of the world in the agricultural sector.
