Princess wears the Queen Elizabeth II’s dress and Tiara for her big Day !

Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice of York and Property Tycoon Mr. Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi have officially tied the knot in small private ceremony at the Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge, Windsor on Friday 17^th July. The new venue of Royal Lodge in Windsor Great Park is Princess’s childhood home. Princess Beatrice's parents still live at the property.

Mr. Edoardo Mozzi's son Wolfie who is 4 years old was the best man and pageboy.

Beatrice and her husband began dating in autumn 2018 and got engaged 2019 September.

Royal couple (Beatrice, 31, and Mr Mapelli Mozzi, 35) had originally planned to marry on May 29 this year at the Chapel Royal, St James Palace, in London, however the reception was cancelled due to ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Weddings in England were banned under almost all circumstances once the national lockdown began on 23 March. In a statement, the palace said the wedding was held within government guidelines. Ceremony was attended by only 20 guests. Queen Elizabeth II,94 and Prince Philip, 99, Duke of Edinburgh were among the guests.

For a bride its always special to have grandmother’s blessing on her big day. Princess was even more fortunate and got an opportunity to donned Queen’s own dress, slightly altered version and tiara.

The dress Beatrice wore is made from Peau De Soie taffeta in shades of ivory trimmed with ivory Duchess satin; the sleeves, which appear to have been added for the wedding, are organza. A statement from the Palace adds that the dress is encrusted with diamanté and has a geometric checkered bodice.

The Tiara is particularly significant because it is the one the Queen herself wore on her wedding day. It was originally made in 1919 for Queen Mary, Queen Elizabeth’s grandmother, by the royal jewelers Garrard and Co., and fashioned from a diamond necklace that Queen Victoria had given Mary of Teck for her wedding.
