Villa Firenze, The World's Most Expensive Mansion Is Now On Auction

Villa Firenze, a massive mansion in Beverly Hills, California is owned by Hungarian billionaire Steven Udvar-Hazy is now on auction. It is included in the list of the real estate Hilton & Hyland for an estimated value of $160 million.

Designed by the architect William Hablinski, the mansion of more than 1,900-square-meters of floor area consists of 13 bedrooms, 17 bathrooms, and 8 toilets. The palatial style is revealed in the details and ornaments: vaulted ceilings, arches, marble, and stone floors.

The 36,000-square-meter plot is accessed by a private street, on which there is a walking path, gardens adorned with three fountains, 15-meter palm trees specially imported from the Canary Islands, and a patio with a capacity for 30 cars. It also has a guesthouse, bathroom, swimming pool, and tennis court.

It features a regal décor complete with vault ceilings, marble and stone floors, arched doorways, and multiple fireplaces. The house also boasts a swimming pool and pool house, a tennis court, a walking trail, a garden with three fountains, and a two-story guesthouse.

The surrounding grounds are no less spectacular: A resort-style pool dominates the deck just off the house, along with a jacuzzi and pool house (a caretaker apartment occupies the second floor) and a cabana kitchen. Formal gardens and a fountain are part of the four acres of manicured lawn. There’s also a sports field, a tennis court, a basketball court, a fenced dog run and a six-car garage. Security patrols the property 24/7. Neighbors include Denzel Washington, Sly Stallone and Eddie Murphy.

The auction of the mansion is scheduled to start on January 26, 2021, and bids may be placed until February 3. The digital company Concierge Auctions is responsible for the event, and has not yet released the minimum bid. The owner will be forced to accept the highest bid, which is likely to break the record value offered by a mansion auctioned in the United States.

The property, originally offered for sale in 2018 for $165 million, is now put up for auction by its owner, the current president of Air Lease Corp, with the aim of optimizing the sale.
