Sirena is arriving in Summer 2016 in the family of Oceania Cruises award-winning ships. Sirena, which in Spanish, means mermaid, is the most treasured of all the collections Oceania has. A mid-sized ship that is all set to make its inaugural voyage in the summer of 2016 will undergo a 35 day, 40 million makeover plan to uplift its standard, matching its other three elegant ships, Regatta, Insignia, and Nautica. Its highly anticipated launch opens up a whole new array of destination-rich itineraries, which will embrace the globe from all corners. The ship will cater to just 684 guests, opening up new vistas about luxury vacation. Guests will explore new ports; enjoy their favorite cuisines at specialty dining restaurants, and the newly added Polo Grill Baristas coffee bar and a cook-to-order grill at Terrace Café. For passionate cruisers and new cruising enthusiasts, Sirena will open up the door to a world of unmatched luxury, highest level of hospitality, and alluringly new destinations. The deck of the ship will showcase brilliant teakwood, custom stone, and tile work, while the lounges and all the 342 lavish suites and staterooms will be complete in all respect reflecting neo-classical furnishings. There will be an excellent fitness center and spa, a casino, four unique, open-seating restaurants, eight lounges and bars. Almost 70% of the space will be open and feature private verandas. To serve its 684 highly valued guests, the ship will have 400 professionally trained European staff.
