ITC Introduces World's Most Expensive Chocolate, Its Price is Rs 4.3 Lakh Per Kg

Diversified group ITC has introduced the world's most expensive chocolate. Its price is Rs 4.3 lakh per kg. ITC has introduced this chocolate under its Fabelle brand.
ITC broke chocolatier Fritz Knipschildt's 2012 record for the La Madeline au Truffle that retailed at $250 a piece (roughly Rs 17,736) and works out to $2,600 per pound by introducing this range.
ITC's luxury chocolate brand Fabelle Exquisite Chocolates has introduced its limited-range Chocolate 'Trinity - Truffles Extraordinaire'. It has joined the Guinness World Records. It has been described as the world's most expensive chocolate.
The ITC said in a statement that the Truffles Extraordinaire box, jointly created by France's Michelin Star Chef Philippe Conticini and Fabelle's Master Chocolatier, is priced at around Rs 4.3 lakh per kg. The box contains three types of truffles, named Creator, Nurturer and Destroyer. The range, curated by Michelin Star Chef Philippe Conticini, uses some of the rarest ingredients in the world, along with the finest single-origin cacaos. The company said in a release each master piece unfolds a mystical story for the Indian consumers to experience, " the coconut which symbolises the beginning in Creator, the Grand Cru dark chocolate in Destroyer or the rare Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee in Nurturer."
ITC chief operating officer (chocolate, confectionery, coffee and new category) food department Anuj Rustagi said that we are very happy to set a new benchmark in Fabelle. We have achieved this achievement not just the Indian market but globally as well. We have joined the Guinness World Record. It will be available in a limited edition hand-made wooden box. There will be 15 truffles of 15 grams each. The price of this box will be one lakh rupees including all taxes.
