But here’s the good news: As various Countries are slowly reopening their borders and they’re doing it with health and safety protocols in place which bodes well for people who want to travel in 2021. Here, is the list of best holiday destinations for 2021.
1. Greece: It is the best-hidden gem and one of the safest destinations of Europe. It is definitely a bucket-list country for history buffs, thanks to its classic and natural wonders and to top it all off, it also flaunts its gorgeous turquoise coastline, one of the prettiest ones in entire Europe. From Athens to Santorini, there is something for everyone and going to Greece.
2. Maldives: Maldives is the couple’s destination to end all others -- luxury hotels set on private islands, with rooms cantilevered over the water.
Maldives being a naturally socially distant getaway are selling themselves as a destination offering a "normal" vacation, thanks to the isolation of most hotels and the fact that the vast majority of visitors stay in-resort rather than venture out. The destination has enacted strict Covid procedures and all of the islands’ resorts and accommodations are taking precautions and some properties have introduced complimentary PCR testing, eliminating the need for guests to travel off property to a testing facility.
3. New Zealand: New Zealand is one of the most sought-after destinations in the world. With its snow-capped mountains, ancient glaciers, rolling hills, and copious amounts of wine, it’s a destination unlike all others. New Zealand was one of the countries that have best dealt with Covid. Thus, it is perfect for those traveling as soon as it opens up in 2021.
4. Egypt: Egypt officially launched its reopening on May 15th, 2020, starting with dozens of hotels in beach communities such as Hurghada, Sharm el Sheikh, and Marsa Alam along the serene Egyptian Red Sea coast where the best scuba diving spots in Egypt. After meeting strict health and safety protocols, hotels were allowed to open at 25% capacity. These areas of Egypt reported the fewest number of Covid-19 infections and were the safest to reopen initially.
